Irtiqa Academy offers online Tajweed classes for every level, so you can learn the rules of Quran recitation with precision and beauty. Built on an innovative and flexible method, the classes are taught by qualified teachers and can be followed from anywhere in the world. Our online Tajweed classes are open to women, as well as to men and children.

Online Tajweed Classes Level 1:

At this level, students discover the essential foundations of Tajweed: its meaning, its importance and its aims. They learn the Arabic letters with their points of articulation (Makharij) and their characteristics (Sifaat). An introduction to the rules of prolongation (Madd) is also included, with practical exercises on short surahs such as Al-Fatiha and Al-Ikhlas to put the rules into practice.

Online Tajweed Course Level 2:

At this level, students go deeper into Tajweed by studying the rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween, including Idgham, Ikhfa, Iqlab and Izhar, as well as the rules of Meem Sakinah. They also explore the different types of Madd (natural, obligatory, necessary and more) and are introduced to the stops (Waqf) and their meaning in the Quran. This level includes practical application through the recitation of selected surahs such as Al-Baqarah and Al-Mulk.

Learn Tajweed Online Level 3:

At this level, students apply more advanced rules. They deepen their understanding of the Sifaat of the letters and study the different forms of Idgham and their exceptions. This level also introduces the basics of the variant readings (Qira'at). Students put this knowledge into practice by reciting longer surahs such as Al-Kahf and Yasin, while strictly observing the rules of Tajweed.

Online Tajweed Classes Level 4:

At this level, students focus on a detailed analysis of common recitation mistakes and how to correct them. They also learn the Maqamat (melodic modes of recitation) to bring more harmony to their reading. The level ends with an official certificate, awarded after a practical exam in which the student recites a selected surah of the Quran, applying all the Tajweed rules they have learned.
